Job Description

This hands-on Avionics Repair Technician role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of avionics and aircraft electrical systems with minimal supervision. You will support the service department schedule to ensure aircraft are delivered on time, on budget, and free of unresolved issues, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualification

• 2–5 years of hands-on avionics experience.
• FCC license (nice to have).
• Bench repair capabilities for avionics components (preferred).
• Experience with general aviation (GA), corporate, commercial, or military aircraft will be considered.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a hangar environment at a corporate aviation facility, with most tasks carried out inside the aircraft. The facility is fairly clean and temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable and professional setting. You will work closely with a small, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality avionics and electrical work. Standard schedules include Monday through Friday first and second shift options, typically 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
