Job Title: Aircraft Interiors Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on interior modification and upgrades of 737MAX and A330 aircraft for airline customers. You will remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall a wide range of cabin components to support heavy checks and modification programs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to aviation standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior modification and upgrade work on 737MAX and A330 aircraft in support of heavy checks and modification projects.
- Remove seats, cabinets, overhead bins, sidewalls, panels, lavatories, galleys, and other interior equipment using appropriate tools and procedures.
- Inspect installation brackets, mounting hardware, and related assemblies for wear, damage, or nonconformance, and perform or support necessary repairs.
- Install and re-install seats, galleys, lavatories, overhead bins, panels, and other interior components in accordance with technical data and work instructions.
- Handle and install interior components such as lavatories, galleys, monuments, CO2 boxes, and associated hardware with precision and care.
- Perform basic upholstery-related tasks as needed to support interior refurbishment and upgrades.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for removal, installation, and repair of interior components.
- Follow all maintenance documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with aviation standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with inspectors and other technicians to resolve installation issues and ensure quality and safety of completed work.
- Maintain an organized work area and manage a personal minimum tool list to support efficient completion of tasks.
- Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, to meet project schedules and support overtime requirements as needed.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of aircraft interiors removal and installation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with aircraft cabin components, including seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, lavatories, galleys, and overhead bins.
- Proficiency with tools and techniques for interior installation, removal, and repair.
- Ability to inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies in accordance with maintenance standards.
- Experience working on commercial aircraft interiors, preferably in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work cards, and related documentation.
- Must have and maintain a minimum personal tool list appropriate for aircraft interior work.
- Willingness to work any assigned shift, including weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety in all tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Airframe license (A&P or airframe license) highly preferred.
- Airframe license and/or 5+ years of aircraft interiors experience highly preferred.
- Experience with 737MAX or other next-generation commercial aircraft is preferred.
- Familiarity with handling and installing CO2 boxes and other specialized interior components.
- Ability to work effectively in a large hangar environment as part of a maintenance and modification team.
Work Environment
This position is based in a large MRO hangar setting, working on commercial aircraft in a structured maintenance and modification environment. The first week consists of training on a day schedule, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of finishing early toward the end of the week. After training, you will move to an assigned floor shift. Shift times are 05:00–15:30 or 15:30–02:00, with schedule patterns such as Monday–Thursday, Tuesday–Friday, or Thursday–Sunday. Technicians typically have access to 10–20 hours of overtime per week, depending on project needs. Work involves regular use of hand and power tools, working around large aircraft, and operating in an active hangar environment with other maintenance and modification teams.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr.
